Default 2001 VW Jetta Headlight Issue

I recently purchased a used 2001 Volkswagen Jetta. The headlights dimmed shortly thereafter but were still on. I thought it was a short. I took it into a dealership, and they charged me 135 dollars to run diagnostics and replace both bulbs. Replacing the bulbs fixed the problem, however, after 4 days, the light went dim again. Help.

hhhhmmm is it just your low beams? or both highs and lows that arent bright enough? something is killing your bulbs, maybe some sort of wiring problem is messing with your bulbs. im really not sure to be honest, i hate electrical stuff. try vwvortex.com
