Yes its called auto lock that locks all doors when you drive above 10 mph. Its an annoying feature which I turned off in the MFD settings. Now someone asked about disabling this feature on his 2011 Jetta on another forum. He said there where no options in the MFD settings to do that on USA models.

If you can't find anything in the MFD settings then you need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to disable this feature. It appears that dealers won't disable it as its a safety feature.

If its still under warranty and the drivers door won't open when stopped get it fixed under warranty.

So it locks and unlocks while you driving then when you've stopped you can't open the drivers door?

You need to get your motor scanned for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them.

If your in USA I'm told AutoZone will do a free scan in the hope you buy something of them.
