Default Underdrive Pulleys

I was just wondering if I should install an Underdrive pulley into my 92 Jetta, but i read that the underdrive pulley can be an annoyance for daytime driving but is good for racing. I plan to do both, so is this true about it being bad for daytime driving? what do you think i should do?

underdrive pullys are a very good thing i dont see how they could be bad for daily driving, all they do is make your crank not have to work as hard because they are lighter so it dosent have to turn as much weight, it sorta frees up hp, and it still drives your belts so go for it.
