Default Pulleys

So, I'm thinking about getting some new pulleys for my 03 gti. Thing is, I'm curious about ac and alternator performance loss. I know this is a great mod, but it's also my daily driver we're talking about here, and I do want to be comfortable. Has anyone out there done this mod, and have you noticed any significant cons? Thanks!

Default RE: Pulleys

Most alternators produce a almost full charge at 1500 to
1800 rpm. I don't think you would have a problem at that
mod.
The a/c compressor works about the same at about 1600
rpm the compressor is giving enough movement to the freon that you shouldn't know any difference. The pulley
mod I assume is a smaller set to provide more performance.
it will actually help the engine not work so hard and should
help on gas mileage.
