Default Trans slip

Hi everyone new here I have a 02 Jetta 1.8L turbo 5 speed auto. It has just started to shift into 3rd gear at slow speeds with a jerk a hard shift. It slips when going into 3rd gear when you drive harder.

I have serviced the trans. Also it shifts good if you have it in the manual shifting side where you tip up or down to shift it. I was thinking a valve was stuck causing to much presure at low speeds and not enough at high. But servicing the trans did not change anything.

I was thinking maybe it was a ECM problem at this time. I am just not sure what may change in how it shifts from the D range and the manual tip up and down. If it was a wore clutch seals or any hard parts I would think it would do the same thing no matter where or how you shifted it.

What I am not sure of is how the vavles work between the 2 was to shift it. meaning if in D range it uses all the valve and soleniods but in tip up and down it may not use some of them again this is what I am not sure of. It has no codes and no lights on.

Thank you for your help and if you need more info please ask
