Default Ticking noise and other problem, please help

I have a 2000 GLS Jetta manual. The other day my car starting making a ticking noise and as i would press on the throttle, the ticking got faster and faster. My other problem is my car makes some sort of remote control car sound and my A/C doesnt work. Maybe it's the air conditioning system making that sound?

Please let me know what you think it could be
Thanks.

Default VW Tools from VW that Dealers Use

Could your ticking noise be a fan blade or some other moving piece hitting something else such that when the RPM's go up the ticking happens faster in direct correlation to the RPM's?

You can get specialty tools directly from VW. All VW and Audi dealerships go to the following site to get their tools: Home Page or http://tools.audi.com.

I hope that helps!
