I placed an order for a TDI three months ago. Today I just got word that the vehicle hasn't even been put in the query to be built. The dealer told me that VW simply is not taking orders for custom Jettas right now and all I can get is the plan Jane version that every dealer has. Understandably, I ripped my deposit out of the sales man's hand and left without turning back. One of the other dealers in the state claims that is BS and they can order me a vehicle. Anyone know anything of this?

Now I am stuck with buying one of four TDI's in the state that is in stock (none of which I like) or buying a different car. I am kind of pissed for waiting for three months to find out I was wasting my time.

That said if anyone knows of a dealer that has a red TDI Jetta sedan with the tan interior, I am interested.
