stubby antenna

My antenna is kind of messed up so I want to replace it with a stubby one. I just want to know if the reception on it is as good as the stock one. The radio is my primary entertainment in my car being as though I donâ€™t have a cd player, so I want it to work as good as the original.

I can't speak for all stubbies, but I got a 'shark fin' antenna from visualgarage.com, and it works just as well, if not a little better actually. I think it was only around 50 bucks too.
