alright, i'm new to the forums and i got a question...

my g/f is looking at a 99.5 jetta with 104,000 miles, it's a 5 speed. guy is asking 4500...now the only thing that i know that's wrong is there is a small rust spot on the hood by the windshield...don't know much about volkswagen, but i am a car guy...anyways...is this a good deal, or should i run from the rust????

Not at all it sounds like a good deal although unlesss you are going to do the body work yourself then i would be worried about taking on a car that i don't know alot about.

how does it run?

any mods to it, ever in an accident?
