one thing i didnt check when i bought my mk4 jetta was to see if all the doors open, turns out they dont! the rear passenger door dosent open from the outside and it only opens when you pull on the inside handle a couple of times really hard. if anyone knows how to go about fixing this problem i would apperciate any info

 

Check the latch on the side of the door. Manually lock that latch and then open from inside and then outside. The rod connecting the 2 might be broken...sounds stupid but...shake the door and hear for something rattling. Let me know if any of these work, if not I have one other thing.
