Default passenger side blinker

Okay, so I'm not a VW guru or anything but I know about cars. My wife's '97 Golf GTI's passenger side blinker isn't working. I checked the fuse, it's good, it flashes fast, like they usually do when the bulb is out, so I replaced the bulb and that still didn't fix it. Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

Default RE: passenger side blinker

I figured it out. It was the little piece that the bulb goes into that connects to the harness. But all I did was switch it to see if that was the problem and it moved from the right blinker to the left, so that tells me that it was the problem, so I headed to a parts store and on the way there they were both working normal. I don't know. But at least it's working for now. Lol.
