MDI Cable
I have a 2009 Jetta. It came with MDI Cable kit which was installed by previous owner (not factory). The MDI Cable broke and I need to replace it. VW dealer will only sell entire kit (1KO-051-510-A) and it is expensive. I only need to replace actual cable to hook to I phone/I pad. When I search MDI cable, I get a cable that doesn't look like mine. Do you have any suggestions?

It may depend on which radio you have fitted, do you know the model number?

Do a search for iPod cable on mine those plug into a different round socket on from of the arm rest, there are plenty on fleabay.
