Hi, I`m new in the forum and I have a Jetta 2.0L of the 2001.

My VW have a problem, it doesn`t have any power after the first start of the day (in the morning), or when it has been more than 5 hours turned off. The car had the DTC p1128, p0131 and misfire codes.

I changed the lambda sensor and the p0131 disapeared, also I changed the AFM and the p1128 is out too, I erased the misfire codes and they never come back, but the problem is still present. The problem is like lean mixture.

After 2 or 3 minutes the car improves a little and I can drive it normally.

The fuel pressure is normal when the car fails, fuel injectors are cleaned, ECT`s value is agree with coolant temperature (I haven`t changed it), fuel and air filters are new.

Does anyone can help me?

The only things I can think of are checking your oil pressure to see if you have a bad oil pump or a clogged pick up tube where the oil has to get thinner for them to work properly or, maybe a vacuum leak. Though it would be strange for a vacuum leak to stop after it warms up.

I`ll check that, ... mmmm... or better, I`ll change the oil (and check pressure) tomorrow or next Saturday.

I checked vacuum leaks and there aren`t any.

I`ll let you know the results
