I just took delivery of a Jetta SEL. When I plug the MDI cable into my (3rd generation) iPod it doesn't seem to register on the screen. Does anyone here know if a 3G iPod should work with the Jetta's MDI cable/sound system? I'm hoping that I just need a new(er) iPod and that something isn't wrong with the MDI plug.
