Default jetta or golf

Hi, everyone. Could you give me some suggestions for the following choices?
00 GOLF GLS 1.8T, 66,000 miles
01 JETTA GLS 1.8T 93,448 MILES

Which one is better? thank you for your help.

I have a 2001 Jetta 1.8T and i love it! I havent had any major problems with it. I have a 111,000 miles on it and it stills runs awesome! Im gettin about 32 MPG highway. My friend has thesame car except a 2000 and has just over 175,000 miles on it and the only problem he had was replacing the clutch.Don't really like the looks of the Golf, but thats just my opinion and they seem kinda cramped, but never drove one.All together the jetta is just a damn good lookin car. Stay away from automatics though.

jetta for sure, if youre not lookin to race 24/7 then weight isnt an issue. The jetta is a smaller car but very roomy, big trunk, etc .... i have an 01 glx vr6 .... absolutely love it !

whoah, relax .... im not starting stuff man, if you would have read it right and maybe i could have worded things differently and i apologize, i meant that if they were not looking at the smaller car (Golf) than the jetta is a smaller alternative for a sedan that is roomy. I have another four door sedan (olds intrigue, which are junk) and my jetta compared to it is much smaller. I should have said it differently, im aware that the golf is smaller than the jetta

Are you high man? the jet isnt smaller than the gti, there is a 300 lbs weight difference, not to mention that whole trunk thing isnt hanging off the *** end...

for the record, i knew what you meant lol. And i agree, the jetta is very roomy for such a small sedan. About the same as my moms volvo s70 and that thing is a boat lol.
