OK this all started when my starter went in the dead of winter some how i got a defective one then after the second was put in this all started not sure if anyone can help me but i sure hope so
so for a bit there i had to stomp on the gas (mostly on cold days) to get it running not really the issues when you go 20, 30 40, mostly 50 KM sometimes even 60 but not higher then 80 KM / hour the motor serges forward then goes to normal then does it again so it like rocks you well you drive it can do this for a few min until you change speeds or it doesnt want to do it at 50 anymore i changed the feul filter, the tempature sense anyone have any idea what this could be the dealer even had no idea

Nice car. I think that something is wrong in the fuel delivery. Try some fuel system cleaner, I recommend Seafoam or zMax if you have it where you are. If that doesn't work, test the fuel pressure. It should be at 39psi at idle. If that's good, it could be a number of things.

 

I am going to try this tomorrow cuz i did a clean not to long ago prob 6 months ago but i dont think that it is this do you have any other ideas ? It all started when the batt got D/C for a night so i dunno its weird like you keep a normal spend and the RPM go up about 10 when yours going 20,30,40,50,60,70 and stops at 80 and is fine all the way to 130 and if you go up or down in speed it normaly stops or switches to the next speed then will start doing it again > my check engin light goes on for 5 sec when u start the car then shuts off again

 

If the battery is failing then that could cause that. If it's not the battery, change the fuel filter if you haven't lately. If that doesn't work then you will have to test the pressure to find out if it's the fuel pump or pressure regulator or injectors. It could be so many things ignition or throttle body. The timing could be off which is determined by many sensors. I would definitely get the battery checked then, change the fuel filter. If that doesn't work then I've got all kinds of tests you can do.

 

she is still doing it the batt is fine, changed the feul filter, put a new temp sensor, becasue i was getting the dummy light from it. it is still doing it just been to busy to deal with it goes in tomorrow for a new timing belt but its still doing what it did before what other tests could i do my father thinks its the speed sensor or that throttle positioning senseor how can i check to see if its that or do you have any idea of what it could be ???
