I've recently been trying to install my pioneer aftermarket radio and removed the stock monsoon updgraded radio from my 2003 Jetta GL. I wired it up and everything works fine except one problem. The power stays on all the time even when I pull the key out of the ignition. I tried the ignition wire with nearly every wire but nothing is solving the problem. If anyone has any solutions to this problem please help! Thanks!

 

2 ways to solve it...
1. turn radio off when you park car,
2. connect key on power to acc wire ... i think its the yellow one... it should have a tag on it that says ACC
