i have a 2001 jetta with 225-45-17 size tires and am upgrading 2 an 18" rim and am not sure about the tire (maby a 230-45) and was woundering if any one knows how low i can drop the carsafely on a stock suspention

 

I'll be getting H&R lowering spring that will drop it 1.3in After about 2in you're starting to flirt with disaster....I wouldn't recommend any more than 1.5in...this isn't fast & furious..lol and we're not professionals.
