I found today, a 99 jetta vr6 in almost perfect condition, $1200. It has 150,000 and says that the engine knocks and misses. The condition that it is in, I could easily buy the car and afford a new motor and swap it out since I do it all the time with honda's. Do you think it's a worthy idea? I've found long blocks for the 99-02 for around $1400. I just would like to know of any difficulties or things I should check for, thanks.
