Unhappy Help cant figure out my Jetta car problems

I have a 2001 jetta 1.8t wolfsberg ed. A couple weeks ago the thing just died while driving. I changed the computer, fuel pump relay, ecm relay and it still wont start. I checked for spark and all cylinders r sparking. I checked for fuel at injectors, they have it. Now wen i turn ignition motor turns but does not sound normal, it sounds like an electric motor. Can anybody help?

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

That's isn't easy to diagnose on the web going by the text posted.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing, and check systems out.

Post moved to correct section as OP can't read sub forum titles.

sounds like no compression.has your timing belt jumped or come loose.it would be unusual for lifters to collapse, especially all off them.do a quick compression test thru spark plug holes, check timing.
