Help cant figure out my Jetta car problems
I have a 2001 jetta 1.8t wolfsberg ed. A couple weeks ago the thing just died while driving. I changed the computer, fuel pump relay, ecm relay and it still wont start. I checked for spark and all cylinders r sparking. I checked for fuel at injectors, they have it. Now wen i turn ignition motor turns but does not sound normal, it sounds like an electric motor. Can anybody help?

Default Welcome to Volkswagen Forum - Rules & Recommendations That's isn't easy to diagnose on the web going by the text posted. You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing, and check systems out. Post moved to correct section as OP can't read sub forum titles. ;) |
sounds like no compression.has your timing belt jumped or come loose.it would be unusual for lifters to collapse, especially all off them.do a quick compression test thru spark plug holes, check timing.
