My 94 jetta has a check engine light comeing on on the highway and the car loses power when the light shuts off the car is back to normal the light does not stay on the whole time but is getting worse and more frequent. Any help would be appreciated

 

There are so many things it could be. If you could have your local auto parts store scan it for you that would help to have the codes. It's free.
