Default Hardshifting in cold weather

Hi,

I have a 2007 pre-owned VW City Jetta Automatic with 20k.
It started two months after I bought it. Only in the morning with the engine cold, is doing a hard-shift from first to second gear. You feel a shock, like it is stuck, then is going into second gear. I went to the dealer and it didn't do it, I went a second time, left the car overnight with them so that they can try it in the morning, they said it is fine. Since then it is doing the same thing every morning.
Any ideas?

Thanks

It's just going to do that until the fluid gets warmed up. It's normal.

I know a lot of people don't do this, but I always warm my car for a bit until the RPM goes to normal idle speed. This helped in winters.
