I have an 2006 Jetta Diesel, manual transmission. I went to drive it last night and after releasing the handbrake and driving away, it began to chime the warning that my handbrake wasn't released. I pulled over and checked, and it most definitely was released. Assuming that it is indeed off, what is the problem?
