electronic immobilizer (ARGH!!)
hey everyone,
My girlfriend has a '02 Jetta and we just tried to start it and the "electronic immobilizer" kicked in. She's using the right keys, etc. etc., so there's no reason i can think of that this thing engaged. We called the dealer and they said to have it towed in and it might not be covered under her warranty.
anyone ever had this problem and know how to fix it without waiting until monday so the dealer can charge us god-knows-how-much for an electronic problem that's clearly Volkswagen's fault????
thanks-
