Hi,

I have a 07 MK5 golf.
When I start it in the mornings the immobilizer light comes on and the car cuts out.

I have tried to start it with both keys but no luck.

Both keys do open the doors correctly using both the button on the key and inserting the key in the door.

However, there seems to be a strange timing issue here because I now notice that in the evenings when I try the car starts without and problem. Any ideas as to what the problem could be??
