Default Disable DRL's

I have a 2008 Jetta am I able to disable my Daytime Running Lights?

Well I'm not sure if there is a simple way on your Jetta as there is on mine but you could try it.

To change DRL state:

DRLs OFF

Headlight switch to OFF, select Left indicator while simultaneously holding the stalk hard back towards you to flash the lights while then turning the ignition on for a couple seconds - until you hear the DING.

DRLs are now OFF.

DRLs ON

Headlight switch to OFF, select Right indicator while simultaneously holding the stalk hard back towards you to flash the lights while then turning the ignition on for a couple seconds - until you hear the DING.

DRLs are now ON


If that doesn't work then you need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to do it.
