I have a 2008 Jetta Wolfsburg edition and most of my driving in done primarily in the city. For the first 5 minutes my car is on my breaks have extremely loud squeaks. I actually get embarrased in my parking garage. Has anyone else had this problem? Also, I have a symbol with an exclamation point over some squiggly lines that recently went on on my dash board. I have only driven my car 2000 miles so I'm not sure what it could be. Any ideas on that one?

 

The exclamation point is when traction control kicks in. Since you park outside your brakes will rust overnight and I think they are just squeaking till the rust comes off.
