Default Brake pedal fade??

Ok i got another issue with my beloved ECO-DIESEL just started this past sunday while going to church... at a stoplight the brake pedal slowly drifts down so much so that the car actually will drift backwards in traffic.. wow that will you up in a hurry your sitting in traffic all starey eyed at the car in front and you notice the gap getting bigger!! lol i did pump the pedal once or twice to maintain the hold.
upon inspection i didnt notice any leaking at calipers or lines underneath.
could it be the Master cylinder? leaking past the seals internally.
another site suggested VWs all do this. (it didnt do it when i first got it 1500 miles ago).
just wanted to get some ideas from the pro's...thanks all
