I have a 2002 jetta wagon 5speed automatic.The ASR light keeps coming on while I'm driving . It is causing the car to buck when the gears are shifting. It almost feels like the brakes are gripping while you're driving, once you reach 40MPH it drives fine.When you are parked after driving there is a winding noise that almost sounds like a kids wind up toy , it does this until you shut off the car, it never winds down. I did have an engine light on but my husband replaced the mass air flow sensor and the engine light went off once reset and stayed off. I don't think these two things are related, but I'm unsure.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
