I just got a 2002 Jetta vr6, what are some mods that i can do to it to that arnt to costly and will give me a good diffrents in speed and power im looking to spend about maybe 600-800$ on parts?

The first four things I would do is 1)coild air intake 2)exhaust 3)chip 4)underdrive pulley....it's pretty much the first things I ever do when I'm modding the car. Gotta be careful cause I've actually seen HP and performance loss due to the underdrive pulley, maybe it's a manufacturer or something but I've seen it on a dyno so do your research. I have the Eurosport pulley.

 

What does ur car run in the 1/4 do you know?

 

Also think about traction, cause off the line I don't get s**t for traction im the guy who wants to do the rolling starts (hopefully not forever).

 

my car in the 1/4 depends on the elevation....in Utah/Idaho I ran mid-high 14's......Michigan I ran low 13's. I dunno what it is now cause I've upgraded some things and got rid of some weight.
