Default 99 Wolfsburg

I'm looking to switch my engine out from a 2.0 to a 1.8L with a new transmission. I'm looking to see if anyone has an engine and/or transmission for a 1.8L and matching transmission. Anyone with info or help on how I can do this let me know.

i understand what you mean but im looking to put a turbo into my car and 2.0's cant use turbo or superchargers. and the cold air intake by nuespeed is just awful. i'm trying to get a more top of the line intake instead. basically im trying to tune up the car and give it more power and a better looking engine.

never go down in engine size? im sorry, i disagree...even if you put a turbo on the 2.0, you would still be looking at less hp than a stock 1.8t. i highly suggest the swap if you wanna spend the cash and time...but yes, you can turbo or SC a 2.0, its done all the time, check the vortex for more info on that...but yeah, its not worth it IMO, id look into the swap
