I have a 97 jetta with 2.0 auto trans. The trans is stuck in second gear. I put it in drive and it takes off in second and stays in second. I try manually shifting it and nothing. Just stays in second gear. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it. Could it be just a relay or sensor somewhere?

 

I'm actually having that same problem right now with mine. I know someone else that had this and it ended up being her transmission sensor. I'm going to try to get my sensor replaced this week.
