I went to a friend's house and had to stay over because my car wont start up. It wont make a sound when i turn the key, just a buzzing sound from under the hood when I have it turned. This has happened before randomly, and usually starts up after a few cranks or after waiting for a while it will randomly work again.

I heard it could be the starter, and to check by tapping it with a hammer while turning the key, but that didnt change anything. I know this could be a few problems, but I have no money and neither do my parents, and college starts tomorrow, so any help would be greatly greatly appreciated
