2009 tdi hesitation
Hi to all
I have a 2009 Jetta TDI sportwagen with DSG autotrans...love it!!!
Recently, there is a hesitation when pressing the gas pedal. It seems stiff, but add a slight extra amount of pressure and car will accellerate.
Today, gas pedal all the way to the floor and tach showing idle revs and nothing else...car not moving. Held for about 5 count and let off (cars coming and couln't make my turn), after cars passed, then back on gas and worked fine. Dealer scan shows nothing wrong!! Any ideas out there?

RACER
The last 1.5 weeks happened about four times, only once with the full pedal.
Weather does not seem to be an issue. Amount driven also not an issue as it's happened after 1 hour drive versus 5 minute drive.
Was curious if it could be related to the injector pump with these new hi-pressure fuel rail motors? But funny no fault codes set.

I think maybe it's accelerator lag. Since new cars are mostly "drive by wire" meaning it is done electronically not by a cable. I just happened to see this in EuroTuner magazine, it says it eliminates the delay when you hit the accelerator. If you end up getting one write back I'd like to know how it works.
