VAG-COM\VCDS has more facilities than a EOBD scanner you can analyse each signal from components and plot a graph to compare. You can test each component to see if it operates correctly.

You can drive the vehicle with it connected, obviously you need someone to operate the computer not the driver.

Its the best tool you will ever buy for a VAG vehicle and I don't mean the cheap Chinese cloned cables of fleabay.

Default Use a hammer to hit the ground cable on the battery

Hello Fallon,

I have the same issue. I just posted a new thread on it before I saw your thread. When this stall happens all I have to do to get it running again is to take my hammer and tap the ground cable on the battery. It is at the point now that I don't even put the battery cover on because of how often I have to "fix it" by tapping on the ground side of the battery. I have had two different mechanics take a look at this and neither of them can figure it out.
