Hey my name Jamel im 18 and very new to car moding. I dont know much except for a little about turbochargers, supercharges, fuel rails, cool air intakes, intercoolers, a little about tires, little about software, ECU's. and the Veedubs kick ***. I want to do a GOLF and mainly a MK 2,3,4 made a 1. I want to know what engines are good like to 1.8T, and what the best parts are for the Golf, and if their are any books to help let me know. I want as much infromation as I can so I can rep VW on the streets.

Welcome, sounds like you know a bit about everything. I rock VR6 just because it's a very strong built motor due to only using one head and still dual cams. Solid block and internals that can handle up to 260HP...alot of HP can come out of this motor. Every car has it's problems tho and this car is no different.
