I thought maybe someone could help me with this, but my sisters 2000 Volkswagen Jetta had a major electrical failure and I am trying to figure out what is wrong with it so that we don't have to take it to the dealer and possibly pay over $1000 to fix it. Basically what happened was when she tried to roll down her drivers side window, all her window switches shorted out, her remote lock/unlock stopped working(this includes the alarm), her sunroof stopped working, and her power locks stopped working. Since Volkswagen likes to make things as difficult as possible so that people can't fix things themselves and are forced to bring it to the dealer, I pulled every fuse because the diagram they showed was just a bunch of symbols and found no blown fuses. What could possibly be wrong?
