I'm new to VW's and I've searched the site but couldn't find any info. Recently purchased a 1991 GL Wolfsberg edition with the 1.8 motor in it. It has 214k miles on it and ran great when I picked it up. The problem now is that I'm losing power when I try to accelerate. The car idles just fine. I replaced the fuel filter but I'm at a loss and am hoping that someone can help me out. I know there will be more questions coming but I'm hoping someone can help me pinpoint the problem with some Q and A. Please help!!!
