ive got a 2003 wolfsburg 1.8T and i want to get some more horsepower out of it. what are some things that i could do to it to gain some more horsepower?

 

well with 1.8t you're in luck
do it in this order. cold air intake and 2.5 inch exhaust. then put a chip on it from APR or giac. we're talkin an extra almost 45 hp just right there (all put together). make sure when you order a chip, they know you have a cold air intake and 2.5 inch exhaust and i am talking a turbo back exhaust, more expensive yes BUT youll love it.
next save up and buy a front mount intercooler (FMIC) and install that instead of the side mount that is stock, at that point tell APR or GIAC you need a reflash because you got the FMIC and they will do it for you. and that right there will get you going very nicely.
