I have a 2001 Jetta V6 and this just happened in the last few weekswhen starting the car in the morning. The temperature sensor has been coming oneven when the car is cold. This never happen when the car is warm. Do you think that it could be an issue with the sensor or something with the coolant?

I have made an appointment with a dealer... but before it goes I would like make sure that it was not something simple.
