Hey, so i'm buying an '01 Jetta GLS 1.8T and it only comes with the tape player. I'm looking on craigslist right now and some guy is selling parts from his 03 jetta b/c it's totaled, so my question is- is it possible for me to buy his standard cd player and put it in my 01 jetta dash to replace the cassette player? if anyone knows that would be very helpful!

Just got to a store, Best Buy or something. Aftermarket is always better, I think, but it's just an idea.
