Default NEED HELP! Oil Pan Replacement

I have some experience rebuilding V8 engines but when it comes to 1.9 TDIs, I am not so expereinced. But, I have a problem that I think even I can fix.

My wife ran over something with her 2002 New Beetle. It has a 1.9 TDI in it. I jacked up the car and found a pinhole in the middle of one of her scrapes on the oil pan.

There is no oil level sensor. It seems like a very straightforward drop and swap. Is this true or am I missing something. The way it looks is that there are a couple of large bolts on the sides that need to be removed and about 14 or more oil pan bolts.

If I am oversimplifying this, please let me know before I blow the money on the pan and dig in. Our repair shop that we just spend $1000 on anothe rprobelm quoted us $500 to replace the oil pan. If this is an easy fix, I want tosave myself the labor costs.

Thanks!

It's pretty strait forward the only thing I had problems with on my car were a couple of the small bolts. It is probably different on your car but I had to get a T-handle rounded end allen set to get to these.
