How do I know how much my VW is worth??

I want to appraise my car and I don't think KBB.com is viable because I'm seeing different prices everywhere and KBB is giving me a LOOOWWWWW price

I have a 2002 VW Beetle GLS TDi, leather seats, power everything, 6 disc changer, AC, everything works...
is it really only worth 8500? (in California?)

Probably, maybe less. The only thing you have going for you is that its a TDI. People LOVE TDI's, and that can help quite a bit. Keep in mind ... it *is* a 8 year old car.
