I am a first time owner of an 88 GTI. For an 88 I would like to think its clean, it has new white paint, and the interior is good for its year [origonal seats, only a new shift ****] it has 16 inch Sport rims with Kuhmos keeping them warm, and a full cat-back.


my christmas list for myself is...
-new rims [preferablly 17's]
-Halo front lights
-new exhaust [dual tips facing up]


HOWEVER,
it seems as if I cant find any performance parts
-air intakes
-short throw shift kits
-turbos
-or just any regular parts

So, if you know any sites or locations as to where I can find these parts, let me know.

If your planning to spend that kind of cash id look into an engine rebuild... or possibly see if the new 2.0T or 1.8T would fit and swap it.... Mmmmm...

As far as mods the whole import aftermarket generation hadnt begun yet in 88, youll have a real tough time finding some quality mods for that year, I may be wrong though.
