im looking to purchase either a 98 GTI or 01 GTI (not VR6). first im not sure witch to get.. any suggestions? and second of all what type of fuel do both cars use?

The 98 GTI, only has the 2.0L. It only uses unleaded gas. But, if you want more power then go for the 01GTI, that one should have the 1.8T which many mods can be done to it... I know it can handle more than 400HP =)
