MOTOR

The motor is a 8v with about 150,000 on it. It is mostly stock.
All the hoses are good and the radiator is also good,
(i also have a brand new one in a box.)
I replaced the oilpan gasket about four years ago,
i replaced the valve cover gasket as well.
The valve cover is the g60 alum. With the raised vw sign
the timing belt has about 60,000.
THE ECU HAS A TT CHIP IN IT
TRANS
-
ALL OF THE SHIFT BUSHINGS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. I WILL ALSO INCLUDE THE CORRECT TOOL FOR ADJUSTING THE SHIFTER.

SUSPENSION
-
front and rear upper strut bar
The car has a weitec 2" drop
The ball joints and tie rod ends were replaced about 5000 miles ago
At that time, I checked the bearings, the front were good and I
replaced and repacked the rears less than 5000 miles ago.
The inner ends were also replaced also.
BRAKES
-
brakes are solid
new m/c
new brake lines & proportion valve.
OEM sized brakes w/ performance pads.

BODY
-
The car was repainted volkswagen tornado red &
was never a daily driver since.
The paint on this car is near perfect.

The banana lights in the front fenders have been removed, fenders are straight.

THE HEADLINER IS GOOD.
THE CAR HAS RED RACING SEATS.
THE ORIGINAL SEATS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AND WILL COME WITH.
IT WOULD BE EASY TO PUT THE STOCK BACK INTO THE CAR.

The car was never a dialy driver.
This car is very reliable and has no driveability issues.
the longest trip i took was close to 600 miles in a weekend.
My dad was racing his lotus at blackhawk farms, which is north of rocford il.
I drove the car in the summer and had no overheating issues.
In the last two years i have driven the car less then 2000 miles,
500 last year.
I have two many toys and a 2ND child on the way so its time to thin out the toys.
