This is the sale for my Golf GTI mk2 8v.

I have only owned the car for a short time but every moment has been a joy and I am very sad to have to sell it but I have just been offered a job in the US and need the money.

I bought the car with big plans in mind and have done a lot in the time I have had it and will only need a few bits to make it in show stopping condition.

The car is in absolute mint condition thanks to a respray in recent years and is what I think is the best colour out there. The underside of the car is very solid.

160000 miles on the clock but the engine runs smoothly and pulls nicely through all the gears. The gear box is also every tight and selects all the gears well.
No knocks or rattles
Full service history up until 136 thousand miles.

Points to note

The car has no arches or side skirts (It was my next purchase)
One little stone chip on the rear arch (very minor)
Slight rush bubble on the inside of the drivers door frame (this is the only spot on the car)
Occasionally drivers door latch sticks
Slight squeaking noise from the belts in the engine (I have been told it is the power steering pump)


This car is a fine example of a classic, I would love to see it to go to a home and a new owner that would look after it as much as I have.
