Default WTB: Idle Control Valve

Hey guys! I'm new. My car has a wierd idleing problem and after looking into and talking to quite a few people, I'm convinced its the idle control valve.

Anyone have one they can sell me? don't wanna pay allot and then be wrong.

Its on a 85 8v golf.

thanks

Default RE: WTB: Idle Control Valve

they do go bad on those early cars
check your timing if it is to far advanced it will search up and down too
turn down your idle if you can
some throttle bodys dont have a idle screw on them
