Where have you had CAV from the sticker on the timing belt cover? They always miss a letter of 4 character engine codes. You don't say the engine size of this 2010 Golf Variant, I would guess its.

It its just a straight engine swap. You will need the ecu of your donor vehicle. Then you will need your key coded by a dealer. It will cost you a small fortune.
